Vale Newfoundland and Labrador, in partnership with Nunatsiavut, is hosting the 5th Annual Wellness Weekend this month.
Evelyn Winters is the Resolution Support Worker with the Department of Health and Social Development for the Nunatsiavut Government.
She says right now there are 44 individuals who will be attending.
They are from Nain, Natuashish, Hopedale, Rigolet, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, and Cartwright.
The Wellness weekend will be held this weekend.
It will start Friday Oct 9, and finish Monday Oct.12.
It will take place at the Labrador Christian Youth Camp in Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
Winters says the MoMaVie Centre in St. John’s, NL will be participating in the weekend again this year.
She adds that it will be a fun weekend and she is looking forward to it.
There will also be some entertainment for everyone to enjoy.
