Torngat Secretariat and Nunatsiavut Government are holding a quote contest for their 2017 Nunatsiavut Calendar.
Aaron Dale is the Wildlife and Plants Research Program Manager for Torngat Secretariat.
He says the two groups are looking for photos from Nunatsiavut for the calendar.
The contesters can also submit their photos with quotes or sayings related to the photographs sent.
Dale says for any contesters the deadline was Wednesday, August 24, the deadline has now been extended to Wednesday, September 7, 2016.
He says the contesters can send in their submissions by email to him at aaron.dale@torngatsecretariat.com, or send them by mail to: Torngat Secretariat, P.O Box 250, 217 Hamilton River Road, AOP- 1EO or drop them off to your Conservation Officer in your communities.
