The Young People’s Day celebration took place in Hopedale this past weekend.
We spoke with Augusta Tuglavina who was the organizer for this event.
She says the Young People’s Day was held on Saturday January 28 of this year with 7 youth during breakfast, and a total of 21 young women and young men had their day.
The church services were held at 10 am, then again at 3pm.
She adds they played some games and sports at the Nanuk Centre, and the young women made muffins and cakes.
Tuglavina adds they are so thankful for all the help and donations that were given to them in a short notice.
