The Jens Haven Memorial Huskies recently won the 3A/4A Regional Volleyball tournament that was held in Sheshatshui.
Julie Dicker is the Coach for the JHMS Huskies.
Dicker says 8 boys and 8 girls from the team will be heading out to the provincials.
The provincials will be taking place in Gander, Newfoundland.
Athletes will be competing in two different schools at the Academy school and the Gander Collegiate School.
Huskies will be leaving their hometown on December 5th, 2019 and they will be returning back on December 9th, 2019.
There are four chaperones traveling with the Huskies; including Dicker, another teacher and two other chaperones.
Dicker added that there will be an advent sale this Saturday, November 30th, 2019 and funds from the sale will go towards the Nain Huskies.
The advent sale will be located at the Jeremias Sillitt Community Centre at 12:00 noon.
