NLVaxPass App

Some businesses and organizations are now required to check a person’s COVID-19 vaccination record for access to their venue or space. The requirements are made by the Chief Medical Officer of Health.

There is an app called, NLVaxPass for residents to securely store their COVID-19 vaccination record. You can also store your family members’ COVID-19 vaccination records in NLVaxPass.

It’s free and available in the App Store or Google Play Store to download on a smartphone or tablet.

By October 22, 2021, you must be fully vaccinated or have an approved medical exemption.

Please note that people entering businesses and settings for work purposes have until December 1, 2021 to be fully vaccinated.

All individuals ages 12 years and older are required to show identification with their proof of vaccination. This must include their name and date of birth. For people ages 19 years and older, the identification must include a photo.

Your name on your identification must match the name on your proof of vaccination. If it does not, the business or organization may request a second piece of identification.

To get your COVID-19 vaccination record, you can either download NLVaxPass, add a COVID-19 vaccination record to NLVaxPass, and present the QR code at the businesses and settings where proof of vaccination is required, or you can print/view your QR Code.
