The Nigivik Centre is starting up the Garden Program today June 28, 2019 at 4pm.
Pamela Webb is the Food Security Coordinator with the Nunatsiavut Government.
She says if anyone else is interested in learning how to start their own garden you’re more than welcome to drop by today. Everything is ready to go.
They will be gardening Potatoes, Carrots, Lettuce, and Spinaches.
There are 4 people who already have their names down but more people are welcome to attend.
Webb would like to add that the Nigivik Centre Facebook Page is not working at the moment, so any updates she will be adding to the Nain’s Bulletin Board until it’s resolved.
She would also like to add that anyone around town interested in doing any “Guest Spots” while Shelly is away such as; come in and show a small group of people how to make something of their choosing. You will be paid by services rendered.
