The Nain Recreation Department are still selling tickets on the Honda 420 Foot Shift.
Tickets can be bought at the Nain Inuit Community Government office or at the Nain Northern Store.
Lisa Ivany is the Recreation Director for NICG.
She says the Honda is valued at $10,000 and was purchased at the Notre Dame Agency.
Only 1000 tickets were printed and are being sold for $15 each.
With money raised from the Honda tickets, the Recreation Department will once again provide financial help towards different groups in the community.
Ivany says with the monies they raised from the 2019 Skandic Wide Track 900 Ace snowmobile, the recreation dept donated $3000 towards the Nain Moravian church account for funds to purchase stove oil, and materials for the church.
Recreation also provided a $3000 donation towards the Nain Minor hockey and another 3 thousand was donated to the Nain Care and $3,259 was donated to Nain Youth travel group.
The draw date is set for July 1st, 2020, or when all tickets are sold.
Payments can be made by email money transfer to recreationnain@nf.aibn.com, you can purchase tickets with cash at the Northern store or you can use debit at the NICG office.
Ivany adds if you send an email money transfer you must provide in the notes, who the ticket is for, and your home address.
