The Nain Inuit Community Government (NICG) put out a public notice for nominations of 7 Candidates for Councillors.
The nominations opened Tuesday, September 18 from 9am to 4pm, and closes tomorrow Tuesday, September 25, 2018.
Nominations shall be in writing and shall state the name and residence of the candidate and shall be signed by the proposer and seconder, both of whom shall be present with the candidate.
The candidate also has to sign signifying his or her acceptance of the nomination.
If required the Election will take place on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 from 8am to 8pm at the Polling Booths at the Nain Inuit Community Government Office.
If you would like to nominate a candidate for councillor, you have till tomorrow 4pm, Tuesday, September 25, 2018 to nominate.
