National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

The Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador, together with the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador and the Federal Government, will be observing the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30, 2021, as a holiday.

As a result, all Supreme Court locations will be closed for the day.

If you were scheduled to attend a court matter September 30, the Court will be in contact with you to reschedule your matter to a new date.

From Raymond P. Whalen, Chief Justice.
