This year’s Easter games will be running from Saturday, April 20th to Sunday, April 30th, 2019 here in Nain.
To set off the games, a Men’s and Women’s Volleyball Tournament starts on Saturday at 1 pm.
In the evening, there will be POW’s 3rd Annual Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament
The next games for Monday, April 22 will be Children’s and Adults Ice Games starting at 12:30pm.
In the evening, both 13 and up Ball Hockey Tournament and 120’s Card Game Tournament will be starting at 6pm.
On Tuesday, April 23, starting at 1pm will be Children’s Carnival Day as well as Adults Ice Games. Cotton candy, popcorn, and helium balloons will be for sale
In the evening will be Recreation Radio Bingo, Plastic Bag Akulik Making, and Adult Inuit Games.
On Wednesday, April 24 will be Adults and Children’s Games starting at 1pm at the Nain Harbour.
In the evening will be Adult evening Events at the Jeremias Sillitt Community Centre starting at 7pm.
Canteen services will be available throughout by various sponsors.
And the Easter games fees for adults 13 years and up will be $3 per event, Youth 12 years and under will be $1 per event, and the fee for Seniors 55 and up are free.
The Easter passes are available at the NICG, and can be used for free admission into the Easter games.
Adults passes are $10, Youth Passes are $5, and seniors 55 plus are free.
