The work at the Nain fish plant has slowed down for the summer.

She says the char fishery has finished up and the fishermen had their last landing on September 1st.
Kohlmeister says 48,206lbs of char has been landed up to September 1st.
She says there are 14 employees working at the plant.
The Makkovik fish plant is still busy with processing Turbot.
Junior Andersen is the Production Manager.
He says 341,000lbs of Turbot has been landed to date.
Andersen says there are 4 Turbot boat fishing and 30 employees working at the plant.
