The 10 day moosehide workshop will be going ahead tomorrow, July 12, 2019.
Brianna Brown is the Moose Hide Workshop Coordinator with the Department of Land and Natural Resources.
She says that they will be leaving today to set up the workshop and will be having 7 beneficiaries from along the coast including Nain participating in this workshop.
Brown also says that weather permitting, the participants from along the coast including the ones from the North West Territories who are trying to make it to the workshop will still be able to attend.
She adds that if anyone who would want to drop by and check out the workshop, are welcome to do so at Joey Angnatok’s cabin located at Sâttusuak, as this is a teaching opportunity.
