The Makkovik fish plant is still busy processing crab.
Junior Andersen is the Production Manager.
He says 567,032lbs of crab has been landed to date.
Andersen says there’s one crab boat left and over 50 employees are working at the plant.
He adds there are two Turbot boats gone fishing.
Nain fish plant is also busy with Char.
Deidi Kohlmeister is the Office Supervisor.
She says 33,284lbs of Char has been landed to date.
Kohlmeister adds there are twenty-five employees working and there are nine fishermen fishing.
