The annual Jobe J Volley Ball Tournament hosted their 24th annual last weekend in Hopedale.
Boas Mitsuk is the Recreation Director.
There were players from Nain, Natuashish, Makkovik, Happy Valley-Goose Bay and Sheshatshiu.
He says the third place winners for the female teams were Team Nemesis.
And for the male division it was Team Villian’s.
Second place for the female division was Sweet Digs.
And for the male division it was Team Overkill.
First place winners for the female was Spike Tyson’s and for the male it was Avengers.
Most Valuable Players were William Tuglavina from Hopedale and Jessica Winters from Makkovik.
Dean David Flower’s sportsmanlike award went to Isaiah Pamak and Abigail Tuglavina from Hopedale.
