Igloliorte Resumes Visit to North Coast (Audio)

Retired Judge Jim Igloliorte is resuming his visit to the communities on the North Coast.

He was contracted by the Federal Government to visit Residential School Survivors in their towns.

Igloliorte says the purpose of these visits is collect their past stories and experiences they had during their stay at a residential school.

OK Radio spoke with Igloliorte yesterday, and he said he will be in Nain today.

He is being accompanied by three managers from Ottawa.

Igloliorte says they had to re-schedule their visit to Makkovik and Rigolet, and his last visit will be in St. John’s, NL.
