The Department of Health and Social Development in Hopedale has some Halloween activities for this year.
Jukie Winters is a Community Health worker with the Hopedale DHSD.
She says that all programs will be held at the DHSD Building and everyone is welcome to dress up in their costumes.
Tonight, October 20th, there will be a Halloween party for anyone ages 26 years to 49 years, there will also be some ghost stories at 6pm until 7:30pm
There will be a Halloween party for families tomorrow, October 21st.
Friday, October 22nd, they have planned a Halloween party with bingo for anyone ages 50 to 59 years of age.
On Monday, October 25th, there’s a Halloween party for children ages 6 to 12 years of age.
Next week, October 27th, children ages 13 to 18 years will have their Halloween Party.
On October 29th, seniors ages 60 years and older will be doing bingo for their Halloween party.
Winters adds that there will be a Haunted House at the old DHSD Building from 1pm to 4pm on Halloween Day, October 31st.

Jacque-Poole says that the Halloween parties have not yet been decided yet.
On Tuesday, October 26th, there will be a Halloween dinner for seniors at 12pm.
On Thursday, October 28th at 3pm, there will be a Youth Halloween event.
There will be pumpkin carving contest for anyone at 6:30pm on October 29th.
On Saturday, October 30th, Vyann Andersen-Goudie will also be holding a ghost story telling along with more activities.
