The Department of Health and Social Development would like to announce some new programs to Nunatsiavut beneficiaries.
We spoke with Gerald Asivak the Minister of Health and Social Development and the Ordinary Member for Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
Asivak is happy to announce they now have a temporary emergency shelter based in Hopedale.
He adds they now have emergency shelters located in Nain and Happy Valley-Goose Bay, this is in partnership with Newfoundland and Labrador Housing Commission operated with the Nunatsiavut Government.
Asivak would like to inform our listeners about what the programs and services are provided to our Nunatsiavut Beneficiaries.
