George Murphy, Spokesperson for Consumer Group for Fair Gas Prices was pretty well spot on in his predictions for this week’s fuel price increases.
The regulated price of gas is down by close to 4 cents a litre (3.8) and the PUB has set this week’s diesel price drop at 3 and a half cents a litre (3.5).
When it comes to furnace and stove oil, prices are also down by about 3 cents and residential propane is cheaper this week by a cent a litre.
This the fourth straight week for gas prices to drop.
