Former Teachers from the 60’s in Town (Audio)

Two former teachers from the 1960’s are back for a visit in Nain.

Jerome Bergart was the principal and John Penny was a teacher at the School.

Bergart and his wife Maureen and Penny were in our OK studio yesterday.

They say after 53 years, the town has grown.

Since they arrived, they have both met some of the students they taught in grades 4 to 9.

Penny took some pictures and slides of people and the town, plus more, in the year that they stayed.

So, tonight at 7 pm, the two will be showing the photos and films they have at the Nunatsiavut Building.
