Result of the Liberal Leadership Race is to be decided today.
Newfoundlanders and Labradorians will find out who the next leader of the Liberal Party will be this evening.
The two candidates, Andrew Furey and John Abbott have had a unique as they altered their campaigns amidst the pandemic.
A virtual Annual General Meeting will take place from the Convention Centre in St. John’s at 3:15pm.
Following the meeting, a tribute to Dwight Ball will kick off at 5:30 pm. Ball address viewers from Deer Lake.
Ball was elected as Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador in 2015.
The Leadership results will be announced at 6pm from the Convention Centre.
The Premier-designate and the unsuccessful candidate will address the media following.
The deadline for voting in the Liberal party leadership closed at noon today.
