Coastal Ice Conditions

OK Radio contacted the coastal communities to see what their ice conditions are like in their communities.

Charlotte Wolfrey is the AngajukKâk for the Rigolet Inuit Community Government.

She says the ice froze over on December 26th, 2018 which she says is earlier then previous years.

People are traveling on the ice for hunting moose and partridges.

And people are also going to their trap lines to trap.
