Statistics Canada will be going ahead with Census 2021 this spring.
This year’s questionnaires will begin in March and end in July 2021.
Kim Hipkins is the Recruitment Clerk for Census 2021 and she says they are looking for crew leaders and enumerators.
Crew leaders train, supervise, and motivates a team of enumerators, while enumerators complete questionnaires with residents.
Benefits of the 2021 census for indigenous peoples across Canada help communities and governments plan for the development of Indigenous language programs, school programs, and community and social services.
Census data are used to evaluate programs and new service needs such as housing.
