A Capelin Survey was conducted in Northern Labrador and area around Quebec.
Chelsea Boaler is the PHD student at the Memorial University in St. John’s.
She says her project was to study where Capelin has been spawning in the past years.
Boaler says interviewed people in different communities, and also added more information to our maps from these community members that were able to participate.
She says what we saw with not just the name that really cross the whole board is that there are definitely some shifts that have occurred on their spawning behaviour.
