The Nunatsiavut Government released a notice of Breech of Privacy on the 24th of July, stating that a hacker got into NIHB client’s personal information.
Kevin Marr is the in House Legal Council for The Nunatsiavut Government.
Marr said that information that was accessed were from all 5 Inuit Communities, and that the investigation involved engaging with the office of the information privacy commissioner, to determine what next steps they should take and to seek some guidance with them.
