Archaeology presentation of the Torngats Mountains

There will be a presentation held tomorrow on the Archaeology and whale use research in the Torngat Mountains National Park.

Deirdre Elliott who is a PhD student with the University of MUN.

She says the presentation will be on the research of several sod house sites and what was to learn about the history of whale hunting.

Elliott says she used a drone and made 3D models of the sod house sites.

The presentation will be at the Nunatsiavut administration building in the boardroom tomorrow afternoon March 21 2019 from 2-3 pm in the boardroom.
