The 1st Alumni Sports Meet will be held in Nain from October 10th to the 14th, 2019.
Vyann Andersen is the Mental Health and Addictions Worker with DHSD in Postville.
She says there will be participants from Nain, Hopedale, Postville, Makkovik and Rigolet.
On Friday, October 11th, 2019 marks Day 2 of the Sports meet Alumni.
They will have the Drive through Cross Country Running Course starting 8:30 am, and 9 am will be the Women’s Cross Country Run, and at 9:30 am will be the Men’s Cross Country Run.
At 10:30 am they will hold Archery and will have volleyball in the afternoon starting at 1 pm.
In the evening at 6:30 pm, there will be Inuit Games such as Seal Crawl, Back to Back, and Monkey Dance.
