The Department of Health and Social Development (DHSD) has Christmas events planned for the residents of Nain.
The Senior’s Supper will take place at 5 pm today, December 14.
It will be held at the Jens Haven Memorial School gym.
Tomorrow, December 15, youth ages 12-15 have an opportunity to make seal skin ornaments.
A Window decorating contest is scheduled for December 19.
Judging is at 4:30 pm.
All the prizes are from the Northern store.
The first place prize is a $100 gift certificate, second is a $75 gift certificate, and third place is a $50 gift certificate.
Also on the 19th, there is a youth movie night for ages 15-19.
