The Trout Festival in Makkovik is nearing the end of its events.
Here are the planned events for tomorrow and Sunday:
Tomorrow’s events will start off with a Lace up for Diabetes Run/Walk at 10 am starting at the JCEM School.
If you wish to do the run or walk, you’re asked to see Jodie Lane for pledge sheets.
Men’s and Women’s Water Sprint is set to go, 1 pm at Ranger Bight Beach for ages 15 and up.
The Trout Festival Supper will be at 5 pm.
Plates will be sold for $5.00.
The Trout Festival Dance is a go at 10 pm for ages 19 and up.
There is a $5 admission fee.
On Sunday, there will be a Makkovik Minor Hockey Radio Auction on the CIML Radio Station starting at 2 pm.
