The youth from the NL team participating in the North American Indigenous Games (NAIG) seem to be doing well so far.
OK Radio spoke with Tracy Denniston, one of the team’s Chaperones.
She says the boy’s volleyball team has won 7 of 8 games so far.
And the rifle team didn’t place, but they did really well.
Denniston adds that some of the youth have been live-streaming the volleyball games via Facebook.
The boys will be playing once again at 2:30 pm ADT (Atlantic Daylight Time), so keep an eye out for that if you want to watch.
Some youth from the NL team were able to go to Canada’s Wonderland since they’ve been out in Toronto as well.
