A Family from Hopedale has been selected to go on the Hebron Family Archaeology Project.
OK Radio spoke with Michelle Davies, Archaeology Assistant with the Nunatsiavut Government.
Davies says they are hoping to place a test pit in their family home, and to dig down in the ground to see what kind of artifacts they can find.
She says that the artifacts found will stay in Nunatsiavut, as they are on Labrador grounds.
Davies adds that once they return, there will be a Community Discussion at the NG Boardroom on July 31 at 11 am to show what they have found.
