Inuit women in business from Nunatsiavut are meeting in Hopedale to discuss important topics that impact female entrepreneurs, or aspiring entrepreneurs.
Brenda Jararuse is the Project Coordinator for the Economic Development Division of the Nunatsiavut Government (NG) in Goose Bay, NL.
This is the final meeting of a yearlong project in partnership with the Status of Women Canada.
During this two day meeting, tomorrow, January 17 and Wednesday, January18, 2017, they will discuss and brainstorm models and strategies that benefit Inuit women in business within our region.
At the conclusion of this project, policies will be brought forward to the Nunatsiavut Government to better support Inuit women in business.
