The ITK National Suicide Prevention Strategy announcement has now been moved to Kuujjuak, Quebec.
ITK (Inuit Tapiriit Kanadami) is hosting the announcement of the strategic plan, which was scheduled to be held in Hebron today.
However, the forecast continues to look grim again today, with little chance of the fog lifting.
That means the planes can’t fly in to the North Coast towns from Goose Bay.
There are quite a number of people expected to be in attendance at the announcement today, including representatives from ITK, the Nunatsiavut Government and the Federal Government, plus invited guests.
Some of the representatives flew from Goose Bay to Kuujjuak this morning.
