The English River Fish Count in Postville has been in operation since the last week of June.
Todd Broomfield is the Director of Renewable Resources for Nunatsiavut.
He says the fish count will be in operation for seventeen weeks.
Broomfield says there are six Nunatsiavut employees working at the English River.
So far there are 207 salmon counted- 123 small and 84 large salmon.
Broomfield says the crew has counted 21 char- 2 small and 19 large.
They have also counted 4 brook trout.
He adds there are more fish than last year.
