Today was the last major power outage for the whole community.
The outage was due to an upgrade of the primary Line.
Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro wish to advise their customers in Nain that there will be intermittent outages throughout different parts of town for the next two weeks.
These outages will be isolated within the community for short periods of time.
The reason for the intermittent outages is to complete upgrades to the distribution system.
NL Hydro will be taking down transformers and moving wire connections to the houses from old poles to the new poles and moving streetlights.
Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro apologizes to its customers for any inconvenience caused due to the interruption in service.
