Each summer the Torngat Mountains Base Camp provides a home base for students from Nunatsiavut and Nunavik to participate in the kangidluasuk Student Program.
Mandy Arnold and Sarah Karpik are the Student Program Coordinators and Patrick Webb the student leader.
Arnold says this year 12 youth attended the kangidluasuk program.
They will be heading up to the Base camp on Saturday for 14 days.
The youth will visit different places and participate in many activities such as carving, drum dancing and many more.
