Winter Sports Meet 2018 was held in Rigolet from February 22-24, 2018.
The events for the sports meet were Badminton, Ball Hockey, Cross Country Skiing, Outdoor Soccer, the Labrathon, and Native Games.

In Badminton, Rigolet came first, second went to Hopedale, and Makkovik placed third.
First place in Ball Hockey went to Makkovik, Nain was second, and finishing third was Postville.
In Cross Country Skiing for team awards for Females, first place went to Rigolet, second to Hopedale, and Nain took third place.
For Male Cross Country, first place went to Nain, Makkovik placed second, and Hopedale finished third.
In Outdoor Soccer, first place went to Hopedale, Rigolet was second, and Nain was third.
In Labrathon for the team awards, first place went to Rigolet, second to Makkovik, and Nain placed third.
Winners of the Natives games for Females were Hopedale, second went to Rigolet, and Nain captured third place.
In the Males competition, Makkovik finished first, second place was taken by Nain, and finishing third was Postville.
For Team and Individual meet awards, the Female Sportsmanship award went to Nain’s Starr Webb, and the Male Sportsmanship award was given to Hopedale’s William Tuglavina.
The Mister Obed sportsmanship award went to Natuashish.
In overall points, Rigolet came first, Hopedale was second, and Makkovik captured third.
