Both fish plants in Nain and Makkovik are open.
Keith Watts is the General Manager of Torngat Fish Producers Cooperative.
He says the fish plant in Nain is under cleanup and will be ready to start buying char next week.
The Makkovik fish plant is also ready to receive snow crab.
Watts says due to COVID-19, the office staff and plant workers in both fish plants are following all protocols.
