The construction of new homes through Torngat Regional Housing Association is slowing down.
William Lucy is the Cordinator.
He says the 2 new homes are ready to be painted in Hopedale, also the 2 in Rigolet, wiring has to be still done and that work will be done after Christmas.
Lucy says carpenters and crew are layed off in Makkovik for the winter. Postville still has few work on the outside to do but they are also layed off for the winter.
He added the two new homes in Nain are occupied, and the other two were getting a water test yesterday, and from there the keys was going to be handed over to the owners.
