Trail Markers in Nain

The Nain Inuit Community Government has been busy with the trail markers this year.

Joe Dicker is the AngajukKâk for the Nain Inuit Community Government.

He says the trail markers from Kikkertavak and Tâktok to Tinitjivik will be completed and connected to the rest of Labrador today.

They’ve got 3 workers that look out every couple days or so to check on the markers.

Once one of the workers will be laid off, they will have 2 of the workers maintaining the trail, and will groom the trail with the small groomer only when is needed.

Dicker would like to notify everyone that there are rattles South of Etua Noah’s and Zoar, and if they happen to get bigger, they’ll move the trail markers.

Any questions or concerns on the trail, can call the NICG office at 922-2842.
