The Nain Recreation Department held a town clean up/property clean up this past weekend.
This was sponsored by NICG, CYN, NICG Rec. Department, and the CYN Fire Department.

On Sunday, June 25, started 1-5pm they met at the town dump, with gloves, and garbage bags provided.
The property clean up winners were Herman Webb who won a $200 grocery hamper, Richard Ikkusek won the free water and sewer for a year, and Brendon Dicker won a $50 northern gift card.
The town clean up for ages 13+, winners were Lydia Karpik winning a $200 grocery hamper, another $200 grocery hamper to Lisa Ivany, Shannon Dicker won a bingo package donated from the Recreation Department and Fire Department, and Gwen Dyson won the frozen food box donated by YC.
For the 12 and under pedal bike the winner was Sarah Wyatt.
Kolhmeister said there were 5 names submitted for the property clean up, and 15 adults attended the town clean up and 3 children under the age of 12.
