The construction of new homes on the north coast is going quite well in some communities, for the exception of early snowfalls this year.
Most of the outside of the new homes are covered and sidings put on and shingled.
William Lucy is the Coordinator of Torngat Regional Housing Association.
He says they are waiting on cabinets and more repair program materials to be shipped up north.
These materials are still in Lewisporte dock as we speak.
Lucy says its early too early to say, within some cases theres major repairs to do, but it might come out to do those repairs in May.
