Inuttitut UKaallautta is taking place this week, here in Nain.
We spoke with the Program Specialist, Suzanna Jararuse on what it’s all about.
Jararuse says it’s formally known as the “Inuktitut Speak Off” and they had a change in the name of this event.
Students from our 5 Nunatsiavut schools get together and present a speech in Inuktitut.
It takes place on June 7, 2023, at the Illusuak Centre at 1:30 pm and they will have door prizes.
