Susan Onalik of St. John’s won the by-election for Ordinary Member in the Constituency of Canada and was sworn in at the virtual assembly sitting.
She says her priority is to get the beneficiaries connected with programs and services that are available for her constituents.
Onalik has been trying to get up to speed and has been reaching out to other Ministers and Departments within the Nunatsiavut Government.
