The Nunatsiavut Government is offering training opportunities for youth in the Nunatsiavut communities.
Nick Mercer is the Regional Energy Coordinator for the Nunatsiavut Government.
Mercer says that they are looking for 2 NG Beneficiaries for the energy auditor training program who will work 25 hours a week for 18 months.
And they are also looking for 10 youth for the wind training program and they still have to decide on the wood training program.
Mercer says that this will enable Nunatsiavut Inuit to lead in these kinds of important work instead of having to hire outside contractors, companies and consultants.
