The SHIELD project is a youth led and adult supported program that is funded by the Public Health Agency of Canada and established as a partnership with the Community Youth Network of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Denise Cole is the Coordinator with the Labrador Friendship Center.
The SHIELD program stands for Sexually Health Information Exchange Labrador District.
Cole says this program will encourage youth to have positive sexual health.
