Here is the schedule for the Seniors Summer Program in Nain this week.
Lisa Ivany is the Recreation Director for the Nain Inuit Community Government.
She says the seniors will have board games today.
There will be a movie day tomorrow, August 4.
The seniors will go fishing down by the dumpsite on August 5, followed by a picnic.
On Thursday, August 6 its merchandise bingo, and there’s painting day on Friday.
Ivany says the seniors program is held up to the Jeremias Sillitt Centre from 1-3pm.
And added the seniors’ van is also available, and seniors must wear a face masks at all times, the number to call for rides is 922-2944.
She says each time seniors participate, their name will be put into a draw for a $250 grocery hamper, a draw will take place when the summer program ends.
