The scallop fishing is done for now. The 3 scalloper crews finished up last week.
The Torngat 1 was docked on the Nain dock last week.

She said the scallop fishery may resume when the char fishery finish.
And that scallop meats will be kept at the fish plant for the residents to buy and will not be sent out.
The scallops cost $19 a pound.
