The Rigolet DHSD will be holding some events for the Truth and Reconciliation Day for Thursday, September 30th, 2021.
From 1 pm they will be giving out some t-shirts and some bracelets for a walk around town.
Tomorrow at 5 pm they will be having a barbeque drive thru and people must reserve a plate of how many plates you need by 4:30 pm today, September 29.
There will also be some prizes to be drawn.
Jack Shiwak is going around with an Orange T-shirt for people to write their names in honour of the residential school survivors and those who haven’t made it home.
