Doris Dicker, one of 3 Rhubarb Festival Committee Members updated the OKaalaKatiget on what could be the last of the Annual Rhubarb Festival that’s held in Hopedale.
Dicker said, they tried holding their carboard boat race last evening, July 27, but there weren’t any participants. They will go ahead with it again today, July 28, at 2PM down at the boat launch by the Nanuk Centre.
There are 1st 2nd 3rd prizes for both male and female, along with overall door prize.
On Tuesday, August 1st, there will be an Adults Fear Factor, mixed pairs teams of 16-39 years, and 40+. You can register your mixed pairs team to Doris Dicker by Monday, July 31st at 9PM.
Dicker mentions that the Fear Factor may be a wrap for this years Rhubarb Festival, and we will provide any updates.
