The 35th annual RCMP volleyball tournament took place over the weekend.
Charlotte Lucy-Piercy is one of the organizers for the tournament.
She says the tournament started at 3pm on Saturday April 6 in Hopedale and ended yesterday evening.
This year they had 9 female and 6 male teams registered.
The organizers this year were herself, Jacqueline Dicker, Terrance Munro; and Boas Mitsuk and Danielle Pottle helped with the schedule.
Here are the results for the 2019 RCMP tournament:
The Gold medalists went to Team: Misters Girls, The female silver medallists were the Fox & the Hounds.
For the male division: the Gold medalists went to the Over Kill team, and the silver medal went to Team Makkovik.
She says the Female MVP went to Jessica Winters from Makkovik and the
Male MVP went to Darryl Flowers of Hopedale.
And the Female Most Sportsmen Like went to Holly Andersen from Makkovik
Male Most Sportsmen Like went to Robin Lucy.
